For US and global companies, the screener uses financial statements and the current share price.
Flow metrics use LTM data: the latest four consecutive quarters are summed. If a complete quarterly window is unavailable for a metric, the latest valid annual value allowed by the calculation is used.
If the latest available reporting period is more than one year old, the calculated financial metrics are cleared. A company is excluded when EBITDA, P/E, P/S and EPS are all zero; foreign companies without a current price are also excluded.
Price
The screener uses the current share price. Its currency is shown in the table.
Market Cap
The screener uses the current market capitalization stored in the database.
Country and Industry
These values are taken from the company profile and are not calculated from financial statements.
Revenue
LTM revenue is the sum of the latest four consecutive quarterly revenue values. If a complete quarterly window is unavailable, the latest valid annual revenue is used.
Net Income
LTM net income is the sum of the latest four consecutive quarterly values. If a complete quarterly window is unavailable, the latest valid annual net income is used.
EBITDA
EBITDA is the sum of the latest four consecutive quarters. Missing EBITDA values are derived from operating income plus depreciation when both are available. If a complete quarterly window is unavailable, the latest valid annual value is used.
P/E
P/E is calculated as the current price divided by LTM EPS. EPS is summed over four consecutive quarters; if that window is unavailable, the latest valid annual EPS is used.
P/S
P/S is calculated as current market capitalization divided by LTM revenue. Revenue is summed over four consecutive quarters; if that window is unavailable, the latest valid annual revenue is used.
P/B
P/B is calculated as current market capitalization divided by the latest available shareholders' equity. The latest quarterly value is used first; if it is unavailable, the latest valid annual value is used.
EV/EBITDA
EV/EBITDA is calculated as current market capitalization plus the latest available net debt, divided by LTM EBITDA. For Russian companies, when net debt is unavailable, it is calculated as total debt minus cash.
EPS
EPS is the sum of the latest four consecutive quarterly values. If a complete quarterly window is unavailable, the latest valid annual EPS is used.
Growth
Revenue Growth YoY compares revenue for the latest four quarters with the preceding four: (current LTM minus previous LTM) divided by the absolute previous LTM value. If eight consecutive quarters are unavailable, the latest annual revenue is compared with the preceding year.
EPS Growth YoY uses the same calculation for EPS: current LTM versus previous LTM, with an annual comparison as the fallback.
EBITDA Growth YoY uses the same calculation for EBITDA: current LTM versus previous LTM, with an annual comparison as the fallback.
Profitability
Gross Margin is LTM gross profit divided by LTM revenue.
Net Margin is LTM net income divided by LTM revenue.
ROE is LTM net income divided by average shareholders' equity. Equity at the end and beginning of the LTM window is averaged; annual or latest available equity is used when the complete pair is unavailable.
Operating Margin is LTM operating income divided by LTM revenue.
EBITDA Margin is LTM EBITDA divided by LTM revenue. Margins are calculated only when the numerator and revenue belong to the same reporting window.
Financial Strength
Interest Coverage is LTM operating income divided by the absolute value of LTM interest expense. Both values must belong to the same reporting window.
Net Debt / EBITDA is the latest available net debt divided by LTM EBITDA.
Dividends
Dividend Yield is dividends per share paid during the latest 365 days divided by the current share price.
Payout Ratio is dividends per share paid during the latest 365 days divided by LTM EPS. It is calculated only when EPS is positive.
Dividend Growth YoY compares dividends paid during the latest 365 days with dividends paid during the preceding 365 days.
Dividend CAGR 3Y and 5Y use totals for completed calendar years: (latest completed year divided by the year three or five years earlier) raised to 1/3 or 1/5, minus one. The value is calculated only when every year in the interval has positive dividends.
Years of Dividend Growth counts consecutive completed calendar years in which each year's dividend total exceeded the preceding year's total.
How to read the result
No single metric should be considered in isolation. A more reliable comparison combines the company's scale, operating result, profitability and valuation.
